Fireworks at the Navy Pier
One of Chicago’s most famous July 4th traditions is their spectacular fireworks display at the Navy Pier. Typically, each year the fireworks light up the sky at 9:30 pm. The 15-minute display in the sky is always paired with patriotic music for the onlookers of the event. Make sure to get there early if you want a good seat, the pier will open to the public at 10 am.
The Odyssey Yacht in Chicago
Another great way to celebrate July 4th in Chicago is also located at the Navy Pier at 600 East Grand Avenue. Instead of fireworks, this event is a yacht party on the Odyssey Yacht.
